HSE Assistant
Location: Abu Dhabi
Experience: 3 years
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Professional diploma or Certification in Occupational HSE/Process Safety/Risk Management
Responsibilities
- The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Assistant is responsible for providing necessary support to the department in order to execute HSE objectives. The job incumbent supports HSE Engineer in safety assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, critical facility reviews, process hazard analysis, incident investigations and preventive actions.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining safety guidelines, procedures and policies within the organization
- Inspect work area premises for hazardous elements; record and report safety and environmental issues to the HSE Engineer
- Support HSE Engineer in performing safety audits, visits, and environmental assessments for worksites
