Housing Support Manager

Position Summary

Based in our Blenheim office, you will support customers across Blenheim and Nelson as part of a diverse, high‑performing team helping our customers achieve housing and social stability.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with a portfolio of customers and their whānau to build relationships and ensure their housing and wellbeing needs are met and continue to be met as they change over time.
• Support low and medium needs customers and manage disruptive behaviour situations.
• Hold difficult and courageous conversations with customers and stakeholders when required.
• Visit customers at their Kāinga Ora homes and, from time to time, attend meetings with key stakeholders to ensure tailored support and services stay in place for our customers and their whānau.
• Work with tenants on rent arrears and debt collection/recovery.
