HOUSING OFFICER

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is located in the Housing Division. Directorate of Logistics at a Category A, Army National Guard Major Training Area (MTA). The incumbent is responsible for managing the housing at a major training area which includes such temporary quarters as barracks. DEFINITION OF AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: Area 1 = On-board technicians currently assigned to NGLA-RM (USPFO) of the Louisiana National Guard. Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Directs and reviews the assignment of troop buildings, furnishings, and equipment in the cantonment area in consideration of such factors as size of units, sex of troops, type of unit, serviceability and availability of building space and desire to maintain unit integrity while effecting maximum utilization of Space.
