Hourly Paid Lecturer in Foundation Studies

The School of Foundation Studies is looking for an exceptional teacher with the qualities to make a difference to our learners to join their team in a teaching role. This is a key post, which requires an understanding of Special Educational Needs.

This role would suit someone capable of creating and developing a range of learning opportunities to meet the needs of our students and the relevant awarding bodies from pre-entry to Entry level 3.

Understanding complex learner needs and ensuring that barriers to learning are removed will be essential for this role. An understanding of the SEND reforms and how the Code of Practice impacts on FE courses is also important.

Good attention to detail is important with the ability to maintain accurate records utilising the College systems. Experience within foundation learning would help, but if you have teaching ability and could adapt your skills, we would love to hear from you.<...
