North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking two full‑time Physician Assistants to support its Hospitalist program.

Position Description

Reporting to the Manager of Medical Affairs and the Chief & Medical Director of General & Family Practice, the Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with inpatient medicine physicians (family doctors and internal medicine specialists) to deliver high quality acute care as part of the hospitalist medicine service. This high volume service provides acute care to unattached patients in a team‑based model. The physician assistant plays a pivotal role in providing continuity of care throughout a patient’s hospital stay.

This role functions in accordance with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario’s policy on delegation and under approved hospital medical directives.
