Our client, world leader in life sciences and medical diagnostics, is looking for a Histology Associate based out of Tucson, AZ. Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension) Pay Rate: $25 to 28/hr on W2 Need people who have worked in histology and have cut and stained human patient samples in a clinical environment. Responsibilities: Some experience with foundational histo techniques of embedding, microtomy, coverslipping, processing and primary staining. Experience with operating laboratory or manufacturing equipment. Receives detailed directions on all work. Follows standard operating procedures. Monitors and prepares bulk reagents May assist in preparation work for moderately complex techniques under the direction of more senior histology technicians.
