Highway Maintenance Equipment Technician

Ledcor Highways is seeking a Highway Maintenance Equipment Technician to support Alberta's highway safety. This role involves repairing essential heavy machinery like loaders and sanding trucks.
As an integral member of the maintenance team, you will handle both repair and maintenance of a wide range of heavy equipment. Candidates can be Journeypersons or Apprentices, and you’ll be expected to follow safety policies and ensure equipment meets standards. Some travel to field operations will also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on heavy construction equipment
• Conduct CVIP inspections on trailers and trucks
• Attend to service calls when necessary
• Implement manufacturer maintenance procedures
• Maintain maintenance logs as required
Requirements:
• Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson or Apprentice
• Familiarity with highway paving equipment is an asset
• CVIP license is advantageous
