Vacancy Description
- Has relevant HLTA experience within a schoolsetting, or a minimum of four years’ experience as a Learning SupportAssistant/Teaching Assistant.
- Holds an NVQ Level 3 qualification (orequivalent) and meets HLTA standards.
- Demonstrates strong literacy, numeracy andICT skills.
- Has a sound understanding of childdevelopment, learning processes, and the needs of pupils with SEMH (Social,Emotional and Mental Health needs).
- Is confident in assessing learning, recordingprogress, and adapting approaches to meet the needs of individual pupils.
- Is calm, well-organised and able to useinitiative when working independently.
- Promotes positive behaviour consistently, inline with school policies and procedures.
- Works effectively as part of a team andbuilds strong, professional relationships with families and externalprofessionals.
- Is committed to safeguarding, equality,inclusion and the overall wellbeing of all pupils.
