High Skills Technician: Electrical/Electronic Engineering Uxbridge Full time / Permanent £31,632 - £33,621 MAIN SCOPE OF POST: To ensure general maintenance and undertake simple repairs for the equipment within the Electrical/Electronic Engineering area. To provide assistance to lecturers in preparing equipment and resources for teaching and learning, supervise students during practical lesson, be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment to an efficient level and carry out risk assessments and recommend improvements to ensure all aspects of health and safety are complied with. DUTIES: • To regularly service and maintain tools and equipment within the Electrical/ Electronic Engineering (Power and Robotics Lab, PLCs and Mechatronics Lab, Electronics Lab, LN Experiments Lab) area and keep an up-to-date maintenance record. • To carry out risk assessment in conjunction with the Course Team Leader, Section Manager and Head of School and recommend improvements. • To report any major ma...
