HGV Technician - Nights

We are currently recruiting an experienced and highly motivated HGV Technician to join our team of highly skilled technicians. 

As the successful HGV Technician, you will report to the VMU Manager and be part of the team responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, and repairing the DPD HGV fleet, made up of approximately 1500 tractor units and 3000 trailers. 

You will ensure that the fleet is maintained to the highest standard of safety, is fully compliant with DVSA regulations, and remains operationally efficient by minimising vehicle downtime. 

Working in a time-critical parcel distribution environment, your key accountabilities will include;

• Performing routine scheduled safety inspections in accordance with DVSA requirements.

• Diagnostics and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults on the various vehicles within the DPD fleet
