## HGV Mechanic
Location: Redditch (with travel to Bromsgrove as required)
Pay Rate: £20.72 per hour PAYE
Contract: Temporary – 3 months initially
Hours: 37 hours per week, alternating weekly shifts (6:30am–6:00pm)
Lynx Employment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a busy workshop team maintaining a fleet of almost 200 vehicles that support essential frontline services.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied fleet including HGVs, refuse collection vehicles (RCVs), sweepers, tankers, vans, tippers and specialist plant, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and operational.
### The Role
Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and inspections on HGVs, light commercial vehicles and specialist equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
