HGV Driver – Class 2

Class 2 HGV drivers needed to start immediately for work in the Preston area.

As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will need…

● A UK issued Class 2 driving Licence

● A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

● Less than 8 points on your licence

● To be keen to look after your vehicle and be punctual and reliable.

HGV Class 2 Driver responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

● Trunking from depot to depot, some pick ups and collections and the delivery of goods to commercial warehouses.

● Daily walk round and Vehicle checks. Reporting existing damage and defects.

● Correct use of Tachograph and drivers hours

The successful Class 2 HGV Drivers can expect:

● Monday–Friday: £15.69 – £24.00 PAYE Per Hour Adv.

● Weekly Pay, paid on time every time.

● 8hr minimum guaranteed pay per shift ( more if you work more hours of course !)

● Subsidised ongoing CPC training.
