HGV Class 1 Driver

Staffline is currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious client based in Burton-on-Trent.

Assessments taking place: Week commencing 3rd August
This role offers ongoing work with a well-established logistics provider and excellent earning potential.

PAYE rates are as below:
Days - £18.69 per hour
Night Premium (21:00 - 04:00) - £2.75 per hour additional
Weekend Rate - Flat Rate
45-minute break deduction applies
28 days holiday entitlement

Your Time at Work
The role mainly consists of Class 1 store delivery operations:

- Delivering stock to stores using Double Decker trailers
- Completing 2-3 delivery points per shift
- Unloading your own trailer using tail lift equipment
- Handling cages and store deliveries
- Covering cages during adverse weather conditions to protect stock
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery documentation
