Job Title: Heritage Planning Intern

Wage: $24.04/hour (2026)

Reports to: Manager, Economic Development

Department: Development Services

Location: City of Kawartha Lakes, ON

Hours: August 2026 - March 2027. Normal working hours are 35 hours per week (core hours 8am - 5pm, Mon-Fri)

Other: Start date August 2026. Combination of general office environment and occasional travel. Attend meetings and conferences, which may be outside of normal business hours.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Economic Development Officer – Heritage Planning, this position will assist with the implementation of the designation strategy for culturally significant properties in the City of Kawartha Lakes by providing program coordination, background research, report writing and administrative support.
