- The responsibilities of the Marine Helper include but are not limited to:
- Setting up tools equipment and materials at the work site
- Knows how to use hand tools power tools and basic equipment or machineries
- Carry out all the works for completion of task as assigned by his immediate group leader and foreman.
- Assist to store keeper for arranging material stock.
- Assist to carpenter fitter mason and any team member as per the work requirement.
- Cleaned tools and organized tools and equipment
- Clean the site area after each shift
- Carry out works near to sea shore and under confined space.
- Site/s pose a variety of risks; therefore mason is expected to do their part in preventing accidents by cleaning up the environment and the tools being mindful of their actions and wearing appropriate safety gear such as hard hats and reflective vests.
