Duties & Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and inspect, detect faults and malfunctions, adjust and repair or replace defective parts, test, clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work on heavy equipment such as CAT 990 loaders, large off‑road trucks and pot carriers, cranes, excavators and other large material handling equipment. Service attachments and working tools. Keep maintenance reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: College or classroom training and mechanic apprenticeship in heavy equipment, truck and coach, farm equipment.
• 421A Heavy Equipment Technician license is an asset.
