Be a part of NACG as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, focusing on vital off-road machinery repairs at our Fort McMurray site. Engage in a rewarding role centering on diagnostic and technical problem-solving.
This role involves working on a range of equipment, from large haul trucks to dozers and excavators. Your responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting various systems, and testing machines to confirm proper performance. In addition, guiding apprentices and ensuring adherence to safety practices will be part of your daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct repairs on heavy-duty CAT/Komatsu equipment
• Troubleshoot and inspect hydraulic and electrical systems
• Mobilize equipment for scheduled maintenance
• Mentor junior mechanics and outline work scopes
• Complete documentation and order necessary repair parts
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
