Description

Major Job Functions

• Troubleshoot, maintenance and repair tasks on product line ranging from construction tools, small engine equipment such as compaction equipment, pumps to compact construction equipment in both shop and field environments
• Interfaces with customers
• Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
• Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
• Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team
• Other duties as assigned

Specific Skills & Experience

• Interprovincial Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
• Dual Ticket – HET/Electrician is beneficial
• Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract
• Good understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Thorough knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine electronic management systems
