Heavy Duty Diesel Plant Fitter

Your responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on plant machinery
- Diagnose faults across diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, pumps, and hydraulics
- Respond to breakdowns and complete on-site (field) repairs as required
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and job sheets
- Prepare plant, construction and quarry machinery for deployment, or operational use
- Work both within the workshop and at external customer sites where needed
- Ensure all work complies with Irish health & safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide support and guidance to junior fitters or apprentices when required
