Heavy Cleaner - West Oahu (Call-In, Evening Shift)

RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around the department/hospital; picks up biohazard/hospital trash and soiled linen; performs a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain The Queen’s Medical Center – West Oahu (QMC – WO) in an orderly and sanitary condition.
• Performs duties in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Seeing, hearing, standing, walking, bending, stooping, forward and overhead reaching, grasping, pushing and pulling up to 5 pounds of force; lifting from floor to knuckle, knuckle to shoulder 40 pounds, shoulder to overhead 20 pounds.
• Frequent: talking, squatting, twisting, handling, fingering, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
• Occasional: sitting, running, climbing ladder, stairs, side bending, crawling, kneeling, crouching.
