ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under guidance, set thermal couple, prepare load per optimal heat distribution of load· Load batch loads for optimum productivity·Set up and/or operator heat treat ovens· Ensure quality by observing condition and position of material during the process· Start and shut down furnaces by setting controls, valves, lighting pilots and burners· Responsible for heat treat and process accuracy and uniformity survey· Prepare parts for loading into furnace, including wiping and final cleaning as required· Report any unusual conditions in operation, equipment or material to supervisor· Must have an understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions· This list is not intended to be all-inclusive.
