Healthcare Assistant/Phlebotomist

Drymen Medical Practice are looking for a part time Healthcare Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team. The role includes supporting GP's and nurses with a range of clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, taking blood pressure readings and carrying out NHS Health Checks. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate and up to date patient records, preparing clinical rooms and equipment, promoting health and wellbeing and supporting infection prevention and control measures. A key part of the role is ensuring patients receive safe, compassionate and professional care while contributing to the efficient day to day running of the practice.

Main duties include:

. Taking and recording patients' vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height and weight).

. Collecting blood samples (phlebotomy) and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
