Health Technician

Summary The Health Technician (HT) works as a member of the Nursing- Inpatient Mental Health Team. The Health Technician assists medical and nursing staff through technical, specialized or support services for the diagnosing or treatment of patient illnesses or medical conditions. The HT is responsible for the clinical and clerical functions of resident care to promote timely and efficient resident care at the Domiciliary. Responsibilities Duties Included but not limited to: Assists in the operation of the domiciliary living units by providing administrative support to domiciliary residents and treatment team members. Manages scheduling, medical data, resident movement and ensures that all medical information from telephone calls is communicated to appropriate team member and entered into the computerized patient record system.
