Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia.

We are currently seeking a Health & Safety Superintendent. This permanent and full time position is based at our Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.

The Opportunity

• Leads safe work practices by ensuring safe work conditions, proactively supporting safe implementation of projects and works throughout the Atlantic Operations.
• Directs day-to-day activities of the Safety Advisors. Coaching Safety Advisors, management and employees on good health and safety practices.
• Responsible for ensuring all health and safety programs, training and reporting is up to date for both internal and external regulatory programs. This includes but is not limited to safety training,...
