Job Description

Urban Life Solutions and City Wide Towing are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to ensure our 350 team members go home safe every day. You will be responsible for overall management and leadership of H&S programs in Western Canada and achieving targeted business outputs and improvement levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement workplace health and safety plans, training programs and procedures
  • Evaluate health and safety practice and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines
  • Monitor employee and equipment for unsafe workplace conditions
  • Investigate incidents to find cause and take prevention measures for further incidents
  • Handle worker’s compensation claims and liaison with WCB
  • Recommend solutions, improvements, and prevention steps for safety issues
  • Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics
