Head of Sharia Controller

General Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Sharia Controller for our client a leading Islamic insurance provider in the UAE. The role will lead and oversee Sharia governance across all business functions ensuring compliance with Islamic principles and UAE Central Bank regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sharia compliance governance frameworks and Takaful operations with the ability to provide strategic guidance and uphold the organizations Sharia integrity across products investments and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the companys Sharia governance framework ensuring adherence to UAE Central Bank and AAOIFI standards.
• Serve as ISSC Secretary managing meetings preparing reports and ensuring timely implementation of Sharia resolutions.
