Head of Operations & Logistics (Trucking)

A global leading logistics leader active in Indonesia seeks an experienced professional to lead and grow its logistics activities. This is a container-centric business: the vast majority of operations revolve around container trucking and container freight forwarding. Strong hands-on experience with trucking and containers is therefore a core requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Trucking Management

• Oversee end-to-end trucking operations: dispatching, routing, fleet coordination, safety compliance, and real-time tracking.
• Manage depot operations including empty and full container handling, yard planning, gate control, and container maintenance coordination.
• Identify, qualify, and manage trucking subcontractors and rented fleet suppliers; negotiate competitive rates and SLAs.
