Responsibilities

• To develop and maintain Operational & Market Risk policies and procedures which comply with leading practices and laws and regulations in order to ensure that policies and procedures are applied consistently.
• Identify, assess, monitor, mitigate and report on Operational risk in the Bank through appropriate tools to better manage the bank's exposure to Operational risk.
• Oversee the development of the bank's Market and Operational Risk framework which aims to set out the principles, methodology and techniques in order to establish effective market and operational risk management.
• Ensure the implementation of ‘early warning systems’ that highlight possible deterioration in the treasury and investment portfolios to initiate corrective actions on a timely basis.
