Our client is seeking its inaugural legal hire, at a senior Head of Legal level. This is a sole counsel position. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role will suit a senior Construction lawyer with expertise across a broad range of matters including: Reviewing and negotiating head contracts, including preparing annexures in conjunction with the estimating team and compiling contracts ready for execution; Preparing for the project team Head Contract ‘cheat sheet’ and templates for required Notices; Assisting the project team in Head Contract Claims and Dispute resolution; Reviewing and negotiating financier tripartite deeds; Reviewing and negotiating consultant agreements/novation deeds; Reviewing and negotiating lease agreements (office, warehouse, short term lease for site amenities); Assisting wit...
