Head of Bus Fleet Engineering

Job Description**
To manage the Bus Fleet Engineering Department to deliver safe, reliable, well presented and efficiently maintained fleets of buses, coaches, internal user cars/vans and BRT vehicles in line with business requirements, standards, legislation and allocated financial resources. Leading the team of Bus Engineering staff and effectively deliver major change programmes, championing a culture of safety, customer focus and continuous improvement across Bus Engineering.
Essential Criteria
**
• Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Management discipline. If Management degree; must also have a supporting engineering qualification to minimum standard of HNC or equivalent.
• Management experience within vehicle fleet engineering.
• Experience of managing interfaces within an engineering environment.
• Financial and budget management experience
