Head of Accounts Payable

Description

The Head of Accounts Payable is responsible for leading and optimising the centralised end‑to‑end accounts payable function across the UK and Ireland. This role ensures timely, accurate and compliant processing of supplier payments while driving continuous improvement, strong controls, and excellent stakeholder and supplier relationships in a FTSE 250, regulated environment. The role provides strategic leadership to a team of 28 (FTE), partners closely with Procurement, Tax, Treasury, Credit and Financial Control, playing a key role in cash management, governance, and transformation initiatives.
