Searching for a Head Chef or a talent pool of experienced Head Chefs for a healthcare facility in Polokwane
The ideal candidate should have:
Excellent communication and team management abilities
The ideal candidate should have:
- A relevant Culinary Qualification
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
- Experience within a healthcare, hospital, retirement, frail care, or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic and special diets, including diabetic, low-sodium, renal, cardiac, texture-modified, and allergen-managed meals
- Understanding of patient nutrition and the ability to work with dietary requirements prescribed by dietitians and healthcare professionals
- Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and allergen management practices
- Strong leadership, stock control, menu planning, budgeting, and kitchen management skills
