Join NVA Canada’s dynamic VT Practicum Program designed for final-year veterinary technician students. This is your chance to get hands-on experience in surgery, radiology, and patient care.
This practicum allows you to immerse yourself in the veterinary field, working closely with skilled veterinarians and RVTs. Over two to eight weeks, you’ll nurture your skills in anesthetic procedures, laboratory techniques, and effective communication with pet owners. You will receive a stipend to alleviate travel costs and focus on your learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments and monitoring
• Support anesthesia administration and surgical procedures
• Participate in laboratory and diagnostic work
