The Reservations Agent processes all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. They identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room type, verify availability of room type and rate, explain guarantees, special rates and cancellation policies, and accommodate and document special requests. They also answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations, apply sales techniques to maximize revenue, and communicate information regarding designated VIP reservations.
