**Position Description:**

Performs moderately heavy manual work in the care and maintenance of grounds including the care and maintenance of plants, shrubs, lawns, and the installation and maintenance of sprinkler systems.

**Major/Essential Functions:**

+ Maintain all aspects of grounds, including turf, irrigation systems, fences, trees, shrubs, ground covers,flowerbeds, walkways, and hardscapes.
+ Drive, maneuver, and service vehicles and equipment equipped with blades in successive passes over working areas to remove topsoil, vegetation, or rocks or to distribute and level earth or terrain.
+ Advise foreperson of project status and operational problems.
