Job Overview

Ground Operator / Caretaker – Ground Operator Contract, Permanent, full‑time. Location: Tyldesley, M29 8DH. Working pattern Monday through Friday. Hourly rate £13.95.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the site, buildings, and grounds to a high standard of cleanliness, safety and professional appearance.
• Carry out regular inspections of the premises and report maintenance or repair requirements.
• Complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks within remit and in line with the ISS Site Manual.
• Monitor heating, lighting and security systems, reporting any faults or defects promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness across the site, including grounds, car parks, washrooms and bin areas.
• Carry out porterage duties, waste removal, emergency cleaning and deep cleaning as required.
• Open and close the building, ensuring the site is secure and alarm systems are operated correctly.
