Greeter/Laborer/Forklift Operator

Reports To: Yard Manager.

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt.

Location: 6225 Thompson Rd., Syracuse, NY 13206.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Overtime: Saturdays 8:00am to 12:00pm, as needed or requested.

Compensation: $18-19/hr. based on experience & skills.

Purpose: The purpose of the Metal Inspector/Greeter/Laborer position is to greet each peddler as they come off the scale, assign correct commodity codes for the material being brought in, direct the peddler to the appropriate drop-off location(s) and work in the warehouse as needed for additional coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality customer service.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
