Graduate Mining Engineer

What you’ll Bring:

• Degree in Mining Engineering OR related subject (Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy etc.)
• Familiarity with underground mining legislation and standards, including Coal Mining Safety and Health Act & regulations.
• An understanding of Mine planning principles and exposure to industry-standard mining software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical, site-based solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Keen to learn and get stuck in and build a career in the underground coal sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support mine planning activities and assist with production scheduling.
• Assist in preparing mine plans, reports and technical documentation.
• Work alongside experienced engineers on ventilation, geotechnical and operational projects.
