Overview

Okanagan Waldorf School is seeking a creative, inspired grade 8 teacher who loves the outdoors. Our grades teachers serve a diverse population of children in an atmosphere that encourages active inquiry and fosters individual growth, promoting respect for self, others, and the world in which they live.

The ideal candidate will hold a Waldorf Certificate, valid through the BC Teachers Regulation Branch or a BC Teaching certificate and is motivated to learn more and study curriculum methods inspired by Waldorf Education. Applicants that have completed their Waldorf Grades Teacher Training from an AWSNA certified training facility and have had 3-5 years minimum of previous class teaching experience are highly preferred.
