Governance Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced temp Governance Officer to join their team based in South Perth. This is a great opportunity for a governance professional with strong administrative and compliance experience to play a key role in supporting legislative requirements, governance frameworks, and Council operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinating governance and compliance processes
• Maintaining statutory registers and governance records
• Managing Freedom of Information and councillor requests
• Providing advice on legislative and compliance matters
• Supporting Council meetings, including agenda and minute preparation
• Assisting with Elected Member training requirements

What you’ll need:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
