At SUNY Oneonta, there is a goal for everything, a goal to help students succeed, persist, and reach graduation, and a goal to bring on dedicated professionals committed to making that happen. As a GOALS Navigator, you will play a key role in supporting student persistence and academic recovery by providing targeted outreach and individualized support to students experiencing academic difficulty. The GOALS Navigator works closely with students who have been deferred dismissed, reinstated after appeal, or placed on academic probation, connecting them with campus resources, helping them develop strategies to return to good academic standing, and make meaningful progress toward degree completion. This is an 11-month position, offering the benefit of one month off annually during the summer months, in addition to accrued vacation time.
