Responsibilities
Within the legal team, lead global debt recovery and invoice collection efforts for World Fuel’s Land, Marine and Aviation business groupsBe the primary liaison between the Legal team, commercial Sales team and global Credit and Exposure Control teamsDevelop and execute practical, commercially grounded and cost-effective strategies to quickly and efficiently maximise recoveriesTake ownership of contentious matters from escalation to resolution, with a strong focus on speed and cost-effective resultsAssess and manage jurisdictional challenges, insolvency exposure, enforcement options, and recovery viabilityDevelop efficient, centralised matter tracking and reporting methods, to align with regular financial reporting requirementsBuild and continually refine repeatable collections and litigation playbooks, templates, and escalation frameworksMaintain a register of companywide litigation...
