What's the role?
Own end‐to‐end delivery of increasingly complex GIS data engineering and ingestion projects, from design through execution.
Transform, integrate, and create geospatial data products using tools such as FME, ArcGIS, QGIS, Python, SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and related technologies.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with large‐scale and bulk data ingestion and conversion efforts.
Provide GIS and spatial data consultancy, particularly for bulk source integration initiatives.
Contribute to departmental and cross‐functional projects to improve efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
Apply a strong engineering and consultancy mindset, focusing on delivering the right outcomes rather than only initial requests.
