Vacancy Description
We are seeking a talented GIS Analyst to join our Data and Insights team. In this role you will help enhance how Council uses technology by developing and maintaining GIS applications and integrating them with wider business systems. You will work with spatial and non-spatial data to support analysis, modelling, visualisation and reporting. You will also play a key role in training staff on GIS tools and identifying opportunities to improve our systems and workflows.
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in GIS, Surveying, Geography, or a closely related field, or an equivalent level of professional experience
- A minimum of 5 years of practical GIS experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role
- Applied knowledge and hands‑on experience with ESRI Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Strong problem‑solving skills and practical experience using Python
