Geotechnical Engineer

About the Role

We are actively looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join either our UK or Spain office. As part of the Geotechnical Group, the Geotechnical Engineer will perform geotechnical design services for waterfront structures including piers, wharves, quay walls, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years of experience working as a geotechnical engineer in a team environment participating in the production of calculations, construction drawings, material specifications, and construction support services & should be familiar with Eurocodes and international geotechnical codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical desk study assessment and identify possible geotechnical project risks
• Prepare specifications for ground investigations and provide support during ground investigation works (e.g. prepare or review laboratory test schedules, liaise with ground investigation contractor)...
