Geotechnical Engineer

Overview

We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the AtkinsR alis team in Dubai, UAE, reporting to the Lead Geotechnical Manager. In this role you will support the AtkinsR alis team on a variety of projects for various clients. The ideal candidate is an emerging professional within the industry with a working knowledge of soil mechanics, soil‑structure interaction, reporting, and typical construction practices within the Middle East region, and a desire to expand their technical skill set.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data collected during site investigations to assess the stability and suitability of the site for construction projects.
• Define the requirements for ground investigation works and prepare the related scope and specifications.
• Define geotechnical design parameters to be used in design.
