Geotechnical Engineer

Igne are seeking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the successful and expanding Ground Investigation Division (GI England) based from Chester-le-Street, County Durham . You will be responsible for managing large complex ground investigation projects and have the expertise to write first‑class interpretative reports.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and log subsurface data, including borehole logs, sampling records, and geophysical survey outputs.
• Perform geological interpretation of site data to develop factual logs and initial ground models.
• Contribute to technical reporting, preparing factual geotechnical logs, laboratory data summaries, and interpretative narratives.
