Geotechnical Engineer Responsibilities
- Understand the overall engineering design scheme for the projects that you handle
- Understand geotechnical analyses/design using software such as Plaxis and others, as well as, can review QPD geotechnical design
- Review shop drawings for Dwall toe levels, Ground Improvement, Recharge well, Pumping test etc.
- Carry out temporary slope calculation using Plaxis 2D or Slope W
- Coordinate with Authority, QPD and QPS on design works
- Possess a Civil and Geotechnical Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Prior working experiences in geotechnical engineering projects is preferred
- Familiar with civil/geotechnical engineering designs in local Codes, Regulations and requirements, and Eurocodes
- Well versed in geotechnical design software, e.g. Plaxis, etc.
