Geodetic Engineer

Responsible for providing controls, layout on one or more specific area of the project. Perform topographic, route, lay out survey.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Form a group of Instrument man and Rodman to provide layout at site.
• Review approved drawings before layout at site.
• Provide RFI's to Sr. Surveyor or Party Chief to resolve conflicts on plan vs. actual layout at site.
• Provide survey data to Engineering for attachment to RFI's.
• Checking of primary and secondary control.
• Conduct daily diary of site survey activities and store properly soft and hard copy of survey datas to ensure availability upon needed.
• Responsible for handling,care, and maintenance of issued survey instruments.
• Conduct cheking of established layout at site prior to hand over to FOG
• Submit survey reports to Party Chief.
