**POSITION SUMMARY**

This position will be responsible for providing project management leadership and technical support in the planning, siting, development, and deployment of distributed energy resources (DERs) and Renewables for the Retail Electric Operating companies of Southern Company.

**_Responsibilities Include:_**

+ Leading (and serving on) diverse, enterprise-wide project teams in the development and deployment of DER (varying technologies) and renewable solutions
+ Leading negotiations, development activities, and/or contract management
+ Conducting economic evaluations and profitability analysis for various generation resource options using spreadsheet-based financial models
+ Performing market intelligence efforts (technology development, pricing, commercial viability)
